He is alot better then Stones. He is a beast in the air,very good on the ball and he has no fear. His positioning is a little suspect imo but it will improve.

Stones is a better passer I'll admit and driving forward he might me abit ahead of Umtiti but Umtiti is a better defender by far. Been performing at a much higher level too with greater consistency even at Lyon. City needed an Englishman to match the quota that contributed to Stones's price.

Yeah, Um(.)(.) had some unbelievable through balls to Digne and Alba last matches. He has an amazing vision for a defender.

Whatever I said above is about Umtiti not Stones. Umtiti is a better passer, defender and has much more composure bringing the ball out from the back
