He was pretty good in preseason and is their first choice "9" for now though there are rumours that Juande still wants another forward. Hope he scores against Espanyol tonight.

Cheers man.

I hope he succeeds. Always seemed like a good, hardworking kid. And yeah, let's hope he smashes Espanyol tonight.

Motm today vs Leganes. He was so good at through-balls today, though Leganes left acres of space behind them. Meanwhile we are stuck with Paco, while 2 of our youth players are showing quality.

Good to hear and yet feeling sad.

And what about Nolito who we let for free only for the guy to slaughter us at Balaidos and then us chasing him but couldn't afford him.

We offered him new contract back then and he rejected it. He was 25 and we were playing some of the best football in the history so it was normal he would think he had no future here. He also took some time to perform on very high level after leaving us.IIRC he wasn't that gr8 with Benfica and they have let him go easily

This is so typical for this forum. Nobody cares for players who do not play regularly when they are at Barca, but if we let them go all of the sudden they are great and we are idiots who lost them. We could count on the fingers of one hand people from this forum who said Sandro is a good player when he was here.

Agreed. He was poor when given the chance here and was never going to get many minutes. Glad he's doing well at Malaga.

Biggest problem we have is the level our team is expected to play at we are expected to win the treble every season and to be playing at a level above about 95% of all other teams.
We do produce some talented youngsters but the thing is for them to get into the first team here they would firstly have the issue of a world class player in there way to try and disposess to get regular playing time.
The next issue they would face is how competitive the league has become were it is now basically a fight to the very last game for the title so if the coach decides to give a youngster a chance now and we drop points due to it then his head is on the line and the youngster is getting hounded in the media and has his confidence destroyed which doesnt help him in future games.

On the other hand if the youngster leaves here he will go to a place were the pressure to win wont be as great as it is at barca allowing his new team to give him the required playing time to improve and reach his potential and without the worry of being slaughterd for any mistakes they might make

If we let him go and replaced him with someone better maybe you'd have an argument. But we spent 30m+ on a player who isn't better, so you do not.

First of all this is not about Paco it is about Sandro. Every argument with you starts and ends with Paco. Secondly we replaced Munir with Paco, Sandro has nothing to do with Paco. Thirdly when Sandro was here you were claiming he was Barca material? Really?
And one more thing I bet if Vidal starts to play great in his new club 50% of this forum will blame our club for letting him go and not giving him a chance though they are making fun of him right now.

It's about our striker position, not Paco.

Secondly we replaced Munir with Paco, Sandro has nothing to do with Paco.

Which is part of the problem. We let Sandro go for free and spent 30m+ on an inferior player. Is this so hard to comprehend?

I'd like for you to calmly go back and quote where I said or even implied this.

That's quite possibly the dumbest thing I've ever seen someone say on this forum and that's even counting the various trolls I've seen pass through. Well done.
