Sandro Ramirez

So true. You need to play consistently to grow as a player. And there's no room for that at Barcelona with the MSN playing almost every game.

then why exactly did we sign paco instead of an older striker? and why do some people think that he has sick potential and is going to replace suarez in 2 years?

Because we thought Paco was better at no9, which he probably is despite his slow start with us.

No young striker is going develop under Lucho. I know we complain that we let Munir/Sandro go but it was probably the right decision because they were never going to develop here. Sandro is solid proof of that.

You guys remember Claudio Pizarro at Bayern a few years back? He was like 35 years old, came off the bench whenever needed and scored plenty of goals. When a striker was injured or needed rest, he would fill in and put in quality performances. Finished product, quality player who could always make an impact.

That's what Barca needs under Lucho's regime. Not some young developing striker who will be used as a last resort by Lucho like Paco is now or Munir was last season.

Paco is 23 years old. Its his 5th or 6th season at the highest level. He's not really "developing" and wont get better.

Barca need a versatile forward who can play numerous positions. Not some old rusty guy who can only step in for Suarez and who will never adapt and get garbage minutes.

Munir will come back and knock off Paco who will leave in 2018, then (hopefully) slowly compete with Suárez who, let's be real, won't stay forever. Easy.

So many forwards not good enough for Barca playing so well, while our current 4th striker can't score a single goal...

Damn...

For his sake, I'm genuinely happy that Sandro is doing well at Málaga.

His goal tally would've been two-digit if that free kick didn't hit the bar yesterday...
