When someone wants to a be a member of any club the person must accept and respect the rules of the private institution. If lot of protestant people were memebrs of Celtic do you thing the club should change his catholic being only because the protestant members feel offended? No. Because those people should have known what kind fo club they have joined.

Except the difference is FC Barcelona is and never was a Catalan only club. It was founded by a Swiss guy with the participation of Englishmen after all.

One of the clubs missions is to promote the Catalan language, not make it exclusive.

Dude, seriously? Why should protestant-catholic be brought up here? I think its quite simple; the club needed to communicate with the non-Catalan penyes, and thus Castilian is more suitable language because it is more widely understood.

Primo de Rivera oppressed Catalan speakers. Why should the club be trying to get revenge on Castilian speakers?

After the Ibra fiasco I thought I would wait until he had come out and explained himself but he just ran out the back door and but a statement on the website. That is not the way one would expect the president of Barcelona to behave and I think he has shown that he really doesn't know what he is doing with his recent actions. From all the votes in the various papers around 90% of all cules that voted feel that this whole deal is in the 'very poor' catagory.

Surely it is time to put together a vote of no confidence in Rosell?

At the moment he's still clearing up the mess that the old regime left behind them. Rosell has certainly had a rocky start, not helped by Cruyff's hissy fit virtually as soon as the election was over, but the proof of the pudding is in the eating and a lot of people will change their tune if the team continues to pick up trophies.

I dont think its time to loose the head yet, sure Laporta had a rocky few months when he started too. Rosell has a level head on his shoulders and will put the club in the right direction. He is a realist from what ive seen of him so far, and has brought in two very good and capable players for a good price for each, had Laporta signed these players we probably would've paid a few million more.

Yes he fecked up with Ibra but in fairness we paid way too much in the first place and were never going to see half that money back again, especially after the season he had both on and off the pitch.

Yeah, and he didn't have to answers any questions there eh, or did he? Since the Ibra-fiasco, he has been hiding all the time. By now I already had expected some explanations from him; it's already been 2 days now since the deal was struck.

Wasn't he the one who promised more "openness" to the socis?
