The fans would understand why he wants the shirt sponser, but isn't there a way around it? We are a unique club. Why are we transforming into "just another club"? We are more than a club.

Does anyone one know the estimated amount of money we would get from a shirt sponser?

The chatter in BCN is that all is not as it seems, and that's not coming from Rosellista sources either.

That would be a disaster if we got a shirt sponsor. I would certainly refuse to buy it if we did get one. It might bring in 20m or so extra a season but I think it would be a terrible move. It's a tradition that must continue.

I think there is a difference between being forced in to shirt sponsorship because of poor management and choosing shirt sponsorship for the money. if the club's finances are in such dire straits that the club is forced to sell our jersey, then so be it. kudos to Rossell for approaching the subject like an adult. Personally, if Laporta managed to rack up so much debt in one of the most successful periods of our club then he needs to be bitch slapped out of town.
