He visited PSG training ground with Blanc then started to train before a photos-shooting session which means the new PSG recruit will also participate in the PSG commercials in France.

Could only listen to the radio and from what the commentators said he did really great in offense and defense. He played around 40 min, and he showed skills superior to VdW.

He also had his first ever assist with PSG. Crossed the ball to zlatan.

Van der Wiel was always pretty whack. I never understood some of the users' fascination for him to replace Dani Alves. I assume they just picked a random guy who played for a good team that wasn't that well-known. I think Aurier will easily take his starting spot.

You forgot he can't defend at all. Against a travesty of a football team that kitchee was, VdW wasn't even able to defend.

Now just imagine that Christophe Jallet was even worse than VdW and you know why it was so important to recruit aurier, Alves or any other fullback with at least a decent level.

Again, very good performance from Aurier. Since VdW played a good part of the second half, people had all the time to see the differences between these two.

Aurier was a beast in defense tonight. While VdW performed as usual, very poorly.
