There was a reason he was a 4th CB for Barca B last season. From preseason on never knew what exactly Flick sees in him. We have 4 better CBs even in current B team. One of them is sadly injured. Wonder if/how Flick will rate Mbacke once he's back. Really a shame he's out now when we would really need him.
But same as with Gerard, don't blame Big Dom for today. They shouldn't start together. Today was not the game to start him anyway, should do that vs Getafe who offered little attacking threat.

Hopefully when Gavi and Frenkie are back the Big Dom experiment can end.
Eric will be back in defence. I don't know if that will be much of an improvement mind you
Eric was decent with Girona last season. Not saying he's prime Puyol but he's miles ahead of Dominguez who should never ever ever start again, unless against a 3 div team in Copa.

19 years old, people need to regain perspective - not every youth player will be ready for senior football by this age in spite of all the unheard of success we've enjoyed with cantera players
If Andreas & Araujo are in the squad, Dominguez would be developing with B team like 19 year old traditionally do at Barca
This was a necessity choice that got exposed, can't blame the kid

But people need to chillout. He's a youth player, just 19. He will never be good every match. Especially when subjected to sucha harsh game.
He did well the other game. He should never been started to begin with.
These are the types of moment you break/regress a players development. Flick did bad here.
