Positive surprise today, but wasn't really tested. Munir is awful by the way, I really don't understand what Lucho is thinking. Occasional minutes in the first team are the last things he needs right now.

Gumbau ist not that bad,
I have seen this guy in only two games this season. The last against Elche and one B team match and he didn't seem such a scrub as everyone says. Tall, strong on the ball and quite agile, decent technique for guy of his size. Not world class probably, not as creative as Samper obviously, but what's with all the immense hate? He seems solid squad player. Maybe someone who's seen him more could clarify.

Gumbau played well yesterday. He hasn't been up to par under Eusebio, but then again, who except Adama and Samper, sometimes, has been up to par?

Gumbau played well? I thought he and Munir were the disappointments from last nite. The former was late with his challenges, and looked clumsy in general. At the time I kept thinking how his performance was validating the majority opinion on the board.

¡Gr?*cies Xavi!
Gumbau did well, considering it was his debut for the first team. He might've been a bit late with his challenges at times, but in general, he wasn't bad. I don't think he will make it here though.

He defied my expectations that he would be a disaster out there. Therefore, by playing beyond my expectations, he has played well by his standards.

Gumbau wasn't horrible, just functional. He rarely defended without fouling but his passing was alright (not that he was ever tested or pressured). Didn't really contribute much to the midfield which was pretty much all Rafinha and Roberto, Mathieu/Bartra were about as significant in buildup as Gumbau was.

His passing been pretty good indeed.

Gerard Gumbau durant el partit d'ahir de Copa va complentar 78 dels 79 pasos que va intentar, un 98.7% d'efectivitat.

Most of his passes were sideways to Bartra and Ron Weasley. Not too impressive, honestly. Especially when you consider this was essentially an Elche B team.

Maybe, I missed majority of the game ;)

Sergi Samper : "Luis Enrique is treating the B-Team players very well. He's always giving me advice on everything. He watches all our matches. It's great to have the main coach care so much about us."

He watches all their games but felt Eusobio was doing a good job?
