Question is if we can do this with Busquets, imagine what we can do with a proper replacement.

To be fair we are playing to his strengths and right now, are a better team with him than without. But mainly because we never tried to find a replacement when we had a budget.

The four midfielders and Frenkie to babysit him helps him but he will still have the same weaknesses in Europe and has had for Spain as had for years.

Busquets does not get near a top side in Europe.. yet Barca renew him and plead poverty or some nonsense to justify it.

With him starting in last six it has been.. worst home defeat to Real in 15 years, 0-0 with Girona, 0-0 with Getafe and 0-0 with ten man Osasun until he goes off.

Won two of six with him on the pitch and failed to score in four of them... yet get beat by Rayo with FDJ and Pedri just back from injury and quite clearly not 100% and folk cry about how much need him.
