Meh.. Bring Yaya back.

He had a good game last night though. Xavi and Iniesta didn't impress at all in comparison.

Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets has moved to defend both himself and team-mate Neymar from accusations of diving, claiming "it's not play-acting, it's being smart."

The Spain international has been embroiled in scenes of theatricality on the pitch in the past, notably against both Real Madrid and Inter in recent seasons, while his Brazilian team-mate was slammed by Celtic boss Neil Lennon for his part in the dismissal of Scott Brown during the Blaugrana's recent win in Glasgow.

However, Busquets insists it is unjust to label players as 'divers', telling Cadena COPE's 'El Partido de las 12': "Play-acting? It's not play-acting, it's being smart.

"It's a debate we shouldn't be having, because that's not the real issue. It's all too easy to label people."

The real problem is that teams collectively make a conscious decision to go into matches with the intention of committing a plethora of dirty, potentially dangerous fouls because they know that on a footballing level they are outmatched and illegal, physical attacks on the opponents are an integral part of their plan to nick a point or upset with a win.
I understand that players can lose their heads and do something reckless when they're frustrated, but pre-meditated disruptive violence as a part of team strategy is something else entirely and somehow is laughably considered "just part of the game" these days while the direct response (diving) is constantly called out as a disgrace and a systemic issue that needs addressed.
