Sergio Busquets

In other news, Floyd Mayweather was a terrible boxer when under pressure.
If only some irishman got his hands on the little head of his he would crumble.

(Maybe that irishman got his hands on JamDav instead, his posts miss a lot of words and he shows clear neglect as well.)

Bobo with the worst analogy of all time.

Floyd Mayweather was best defensive boxer of all time..not that it has any relevance to how much Busquets struggles.

Swing and a miss there.

Do better.

Swing and a miss there.

This is what the spanish NT players do when trying to press Busquets in the training clip, in a small space, 4v1.
This is what happened when Italy tried to press him both before the red card (because of the foul on Busquets) and after.

It must be so sad not being able to appreciate this player.

Aye training clips.

New low.

Rayo fair struggled when pressed him... or they didnt and he fell over and led to goal that lost game.
Kiev? Pressed him and got two of their three chances during game through it.
Celta? Busi under pressure.. helps them get their second goal.

Never mind though eh? Players dont press him in training.

Just take a closer look at the Celta game. Busquets, like the rest of the team, looked good when we had a proper outlet in Fati. Without him creating space upfront for the midfield we fell apart, because they could just press us to death without fear. That's pretty much the story of our season (and the last few years). When Fati starts we are a somewhat decent team, Dembele comes in vs Kiev and we suddenly look good. Maybe we could actually be a good team when both stay fit. Irregardless of Busquets. For me it's plain wrong to project all of our issues on him.

And yeah, it's certainly time to think about a replacement, but he's not the Antichrist that needs to be banished from Earth.

Dont need to take a look at it as said all along he looks a lot better when there is pace in Barca front line and teams cant press high up but that only lasts so long and wont be case against the better sides.

The other issue is then him floundering when teams break but on the ball he is definitely better when teams let him have it. Always said that.

No one claimed he is the 'antichrist' that is just hysterical made up shit.

Not sure about that when you look around here (and elsewhere).

Xavi intends to build around Busquets, but the status of Alba and especially Pique will not be the same. Pique suffers from knee problems and Xavi is building on Araujo and Eric Garcia as key players. The club is also looking for options in the market. - [ARA Sport]

If Busquets continues to play as a starter, I'll be curious how Xavi will cope with his defensive weaknesses.

What is it with Busi that he charms the managers? Even likes of fitness-freak Lucho plays him over Rodri.
