Interesting the folk that are now agreeing that Busquets lack of legs have been exposed and a negative to point would want others in team to cover it.

Having a players sole role in the team be to babysit a teammate is failing before you even begin. Busquets doesnt have the attacking qualities to make up for all his defensive vulnerabilities...which also makes no sense since he is our DEFENSIVE midfielder. He has no pace or muscle to penetrate and his vision is decent. He is no Xavi, Iniesta, Modric etc but has way more weaknesses. He's been awful for years, and the last half of last season he was dreadful. How people dont see it is seriously scary.
I guess every top side targets him as a weakness because he's super good and useful right?!

But he's such an amazing player if he only has protection. If he has a Kante, heck maybe a Kante-Casemiro protecting him we would see Busquets being better than Iniesta and Xavi combined!
The fact that every Barca and Spain managers have selected Busqs over the last 12 years should tell you something but some if you laughably think that you know best

You keep using that weak ass response. How has that worked out for Spain and Barca the last 6 years eh? Not exactly rolling around in trophies.
And like I've mentioned several times now, a part of the reason there has been a lack of success is due to top teams specifically targeting his weaknesses. Being out of position and not having the pace to recover or get back for counters. How many times do we need to get counter attacked down the middle? Not the flanks, the middle...
His weaknesses are so evident that Xavi made De Jong waste his whole season babysitting him while he trotted out of position doing fuck all in the attacking third.

Loves to be wildly out of position then throw up arms to blame others when chance arises through his area of park.
