By the time he's ready for the first team the likes of Adama, Munir, Sandro and Deulofeu will be in full swing with their careers, and if more than one of them are having careers with Barca there's simply no way he'll be able to get into the team.

Good luck to him wherever fate may take him.

Except Lee is a Messi-type in that even though he plays CF he's really a 10, meaning that he can still make it but will be competing with Halilovic and Denis Suarez for Iniesta's role or Messi's Argentina role.

It was a nice move, but pretty hilarious defending from those two Thai players. It was almost like they were daring him to jump over them.

if he is special has it seems and has he is said to be, which is more special that all the above mentioned players, if he develops how is expected, he will have a place in the team, with little effort.

Even if he were to play in midfield, I don't see how he'd fit in. Busquets will have the CDM position locked down for quite some time and Samper will be ready to join us as early as next season, and will likely end up taking the Xavi role instead, and it really isn't debatable about whether or not Samper is going to get a spot on the team. That would leave Suarez, Rafa, Rakatic, Iniesta, Roberto, and Lee to fight it out for the remaining spot. Every one of those players with the exception of Roberto and quite possibly Iniesta all will have strong claims to be a starter there by the time Lee is promotion age. Our midfield, truly, would be harder for him to get into than our front line.

Rakitic already took Xavi's role... Samper is going to remain on bench for few next years.

Besides Messi will probably need to be substituted more often in few years, so it would be good to have quality backups for his position (Lee, Halilovic).

Samper can find a way to bench Rakatic, if Iniesta doesn't end up taking a backseat on his own due to age.

And as Messi needs more time being subbed we'll still have Sandro, Adama, Munir, Deulofeu, Rafinha, Halilovic, Neymar, etc. there to fill in for him.

Well as you say about samper being able to displace Rakitic, If Lee is good enough he'll displace whoever he needs to, once Iniesta is winding down it'll be a free for all, since he's the only one who without a doubt is above everyone else bar messi. Messi might even go back into iniesta's role by then and leave the CF role for Munir or others.

On another note though I think by the time Lee is old enough Suarez will be on his way out leaving another void to be filled.

They will do everything possible to make sure Seung Woo Lee is a success. Imagine what the club could do in the Asian market if he turned out to be world class.
