If CAS upholds this, then they (FIFA) should technically go after Real Madrid as well for signing that American kid (considering Lederman is banned for us). And why not ban Valencia for signing Koreans to their youth sides.

They are not destroying La Masias reputation they are trying to keep it intact as somewhere that young players from around the world have the chance to grow.

To do that they have challenged FIFA, they might come off second best but at least they have tried to preserve a massive part of what La Masia is all about.
