My bad Semi-neutral, I wanted to write: take note ammarfcb, since he mentioned that it's a steal for Liverpool... not quite. But you took a good note also so it's alright.

If it's a loan it's probably fine, doubt Suso will be factoring into Liverpool's plans next season anyway, especially if you guys get Lallana.

@antimilan: is he really that attacking? seems to seems more of a defender when i see him...maybe my criteria for 'attacking fullback' is hindered by watching alves hog the corner flag.

He is naturally very attacking-minded, and always performed better in the offensive part of the left flank. He has also a lot of features as a LB, and he's not bad at it, but his attacking side overpowers his defensive side, where he is simply not mature enough maybe. That's why I think he will not be any defensive problem-solver for Liverpool, especially in the EPL. He is the type of the likes of let's say... Bale, or Shaqiri, who were originally full backs, then developed into the attacking wing. Same will happen to Moreno I think, but it all depends on how a manager uses him. Moreover, he caused a lot of errors in the defensive part, quite shaky often, so... however, you never know, he is still young and can develop a lot further, has great potential.

Was his offensive contribution worth his shaky defensive record?

Only when he was featured as a LW, with Navarro backing him up as a LB. You could also see if you watched Spain vs. Bolivia with Pedro as LW and Moreno as LB, where Moreno left a lot of gaps in the defensive part and was more focused to impress offensively. His role in the field needs to be defined and cemented in whichever team he will be transferred to from now on, if that team wants to see the best of him and benefit from his potential, which is high.

Moreno is practically a done deal.

Quick summary: No Suso in the deal, 20/21m Euros + 3m Euros in add-ons, not quite done but expected to be finished very soon, player could be in Liverpool next week for medical.

Almost 25 million euros... simply... great, if finalized.

I fear he will not suit your avatar photo's and favorite club's philosophy if you bought the LB Moreno... if you want to benefit from him offensively, good luck experimenting with that in your line-up.

English teams are always nice to fool regarding money. Moreno is not worth more than 15 million euros honestly.

Great job Monchi, he is a hell of a dealer !

Well I trust Rodgers to develop his game. So we'll see how he does for us.

Rodgers, Real Madrid, Rafa at Napoli and Moaninho at Chelsea have all extensively scouted him so there must be something there that they believe can be used and worked upon.

We are only paying £12m up front for Moreno so in that sense its a very reasonable deal. The other £10m will be in installments.

Oh... it's the sweet pounds ! Basically, 27 million euros, almost 30, even more than 25 at first !!!

Great job Monchi, he's a genius.

No. it is 22m euros with another 5 added on if he is a success.

So £12m is around 15m euros up front. With another 7m euros in installments. Hopefully another 5m euros as well :D
