he is class.. the thing is he is overshadowed by Xavi, Messi and Iniesta so his work is not really noticeable by some people but its great to have a player of his personality and caliber in our team.

good game today.

his contribution to the first goal is being vastly underrated.

winning the ball high up the pitch and moving it forward quickly meant messi and villa were facing a back 3 rather than a back 5 shielded by midfielders.

Midfielder Seydou Keita said on Sunday he was not relishing the helicopter ride across the Mediterranean.

"I don't like aeroplanes and even less helicopters but we have to do it," the Mali international told a news conference.

Hahahaha, that must suck for him... However that is one great thing about him, he never complains, he never whines, he's always ready to give it all for the team...

I love Keita but why he played ahead of JDS is beyond me. And an entire match!
Had a below average game anyway and Ceuta are Segunda B.

I understand Pep's decision to start him but I cant see why he didnt bring on JDS on half time or even after an hour?very weird decision from Pep

because we were away, and the energy, drive and experience he brings to the midfield was more important than ensuring jona the crab gets more game-time.

now we've won this game, we can afford to start jona and t-bone at home in the 2nd leg.

I also agree playing Dos Santos as a starter was risking too much... So as Meta said, with things looking clearer now, Keita might get some rest in the second leg...

Phantastic interview with Keita in El Pais. I really, really like this guy. He is confident and down to earth and seeing thing really from the right perspective.
