Sorry mate, I know that I sound like a pedant but......I think you misunderstand the meaning of a pun:

A pun, or paronomasia, is a form of word play that deliberately exploits ambiguity between similar-sounding words for humorous or rhetorical effect. Such ambiguity may arise from the intentional misuse of homophonical, homographical, homonymic, polysemic, metonymic, or metaphorical language.

I am not trying to show you up, just trying to help as English (yours is excellent by the way) is not your mother tongue.

I hate myself for even pulling you up for it.

u'r such a pedant

For somebody who was brought up by a pack of ferral apes in a small cave in northern Gibraltar Sunny's English is outstanding.

Its almost ridiculous, Pellegrini has lost one game to a fantastic on the night Sevilla side, and drawn one to Sporting Gijon. Admittedly they also lost to A.C. Milan but this is the problem with Perez, did he really think it was just going to work? If you sack him now he's been given two months to work a completely rebuilt team, control the ego's in the dressing room (he's failed with Raul though) and then get the results. He's a good manager, I said that I didnt feel he could cope with the ego's in that dressing room and apart from Raul he seems to have done well in that aspect. They are losing because Ronaldo isnt there, that's no an excuse for the defence but perhaps its a confidence thing. Ronaldo gives them that attacking sharpness, even Kaka doesnt seem to bring that. They shoudlnt be reliant on Ronaldo to get results, but that will take time. He's their best player and therefore they need time to adjust without him. C.A. is right, if he's sacked the club will be in chaos, and he's a good manager. Keep him in, if he doesnt win the league or Cl this year then he should be given another year to try, Perez doesnt appreciate the magnitude of the task he's set.

The main problem with Pellegrini is that he shown no signs of his work in a positive way
- training regime that cause muscle injury up to 20 injuries in 3 month= check
- bad game plan = check
- no plan b = check
- bad results = check
- bad display & no clear tactics = check
- lack of motivation = check

the fact that even cule's media are saying the same thing leaves no doubt in one mind that Pellegrini has failed

Some Barca fans could or already did vote "no" just because they think him staying would be good for Barcelona.
I think Pellegrini should stay. You are just 3 points behind us and still looking good to qualify in CL and who knows, you can beat those Alcorcon boys on your home ground. 5-0 isn`t really out of reach. Pellegrini is a good coach imo. and all he needs is more time and you did have problems with injuries.
Another thing is; while appointing a new coach could bring a positive shock, he'll also need some time to adapt. And you don't have many to choose from now.
Having said that I guess it's easier to vote "no" when you don't feel frustrated with the last defeat or connected to Madrid. Now if this was Barca we're talking about..I`m not sure how would I vote.

por supuesto: Agreed. Kaka finally played in his natural position vs. Milan and looked really good.

I think he should be given more time, he's had some things go against him like CR's injury and Benzema being cack. There's noone 'big' to take over from him at this point anyway so I don't see the point of sacking him.

Benzema hasnt been cack, he just hasnt had a chance. He's not allowed the ball because Raul pretty much acts as a one man strikeforce, what is Benzema supposed to do? Tell "the leader of the dressing room" to fuck off? Raul is hindering Benzema's progress

I don't think it's an issue of beating Alcorcon , if the players play to their normal level it shouldn't be a problem at all , it's those other things fans don't feel like any sort of improvement ? in fact it's the other way around most of those players lost form in time under his guidance .
I don't know about the "more time " so far nothing came out from the capital and the only one who don't need time is Valdano as he oversee this project from day one but i don't know if it's a good idea to make him the manager after 13/14 years of being a director

In all honesty there is no point in sacking Pellegrini at this time. Firstly it is still too soon to judge his effectiveness, any manager needs time to mold a squad to their liking. (Unless of course that managerial appointment was ridiculous in the first instance, but there is only one other case of this in Europe).

But really he can't be blamed, no manager will be able to make that squad of frankly arrogant players humble enough to treat their opposition with the respect of equal proffesionals. Of course he can't motivate them, they believe they earn the title of best player in the world the day Florentino gives them a parade at the Bernabeu for simply signing a contract and lifting a shirt. These players can't be motivated to try and achieve greatness, they believe, (and are made to believe), that they have already accomplished that.

I don't think the generalization applies Pippo , most players last night and even most of them par CR,Kaka & Benzema received less then humble media coverage and not known to be arrogant .
Manu is supported by Valdano fully and i don't think it's a case of the management telling them they are the best in the world at least not with CR or Kaka not playing , it's those other soldiers behind them who he can't motivate .
failing to motivate players has nothing to do with their statues .. see Capello with Becks,Ronaldo & Cassano
