Thiago, Isco and Koke won't go. Martinez will go as central defender.

Isco, Cazorla are 2 out for sure, to me. Koke and Thiago are my doubts. Thiago because of his injury. If he's fit, then he might go... but Koke is having a great season. VdB must be scratching his head. So much quality.

Thiago and Mata won't go. Thiago because of injury, and Mata's form isn't that good and his situation at Chelsea doesn't allow for much chance. Xavi, Iniesta, Cesc, Koke, Silva, Alonso, Busquets, and Martinez will go.
At forward, Costa, Villa, Negredo, Pedro, and Llorente will go. Torres won't make it.
I could see that line up. Villa is not in great form but he turns up for La Roja and he knows the style of play. Casillas has to be in at goal. Arbeloa should stay home. and the rest of the guys are no brainers. Cesc and Silva can interchange, and Villa and Pedro can as well.

If Del Bosque takes Villa he will chose only 2 between Costa, Negredo and Llorente.

Yes your right... In that case, I guess I'll say Negredo won't make the list.
Del Bosque won't have any problems benching Cesc if he has to. He's done it before.

I have thought awhile about this line up. The question being who should play on that left wing. I tossed between Silva/Iniesta and Koke. In the end I chose Silva. Id like him to cut into the middle of the field regularly. Sometimes Alba will pop down the wing. Busquets can slip into the Centre back position to cover during Albas runs (or Martinez depending on who is playing).
No Xavi starting. Personally I would like to not see Xavi start in any world cup game.

Maybe player like Negredo,Soldado,Isco,Juanfran,Koke,Torres will be out of Brazil.They have no place for all.For me 23 players must be:Casillas,Reina,De Gea-----Ramos,Pique,Martinez,Azpillicueta,Alba,Juanfran-------Xavi,Busi,Iniesta,Cesc,Thiago,Mata,Silva,Cazorla,Alonso,------Navas,Villa,Costa,Pedro,Llorente.
Why would Vicente leave Koke out of the team? He is one of those players behind Atletico's success, he has most assists in La liga and he has scored decisive goals in tough games against opponents like RM and Barca. There is no way VDB would pick Thiago, Mata or Cazorla instead of him.

I realised I made a mistake and typed Silva's name twice. That means I only need to drop 2 from my list not 3 which has made my choice a lot easier.
@ Joppe I also think that Koke will be included.
I have also been convinced that Javi Martinez will be in the squad to cover centre back as well as Midfield.
