It's very very sad. Like we did quite often with Tata, this team looks very lost. Can't make the basic passes. Keep getting dispossessed in dangerous places and going for spells without the ball.

Hope they can turn the result around.

And the freekick was an unnecessary foul by... Xabi Alonso. Said this since 2010, he is soooo overrated. Besides kicking people to the ground and playing long balls he is useless. But yeah if I were Del Bosque I'd sub out Iniesta and put Alonso as ACM, what a player

Spain can still pull it together in the second half with the right subs and Chile running out of steam. Not easy, but still very possible. Chile isn't a team that knows how to bunker down, and no height.

Alonso. Never liked him, and never more than today.

Well, they pressed better in the second half but that was pretty much it. Still looked like a mess in the build-up and they were still toothless in the final third.
