Pre contract agreements can happen now, July 1st Barca can sign them officially. If we appeal and drag the case out, we can complete those deals easily. Not sure if the board is smart enough to go out and sign those pre agreements.

We can appeal twice, so I hope it's going to be explained soon

I wish we could remove this summer ban to next summer. That way we could spend all our money and then next summer, we don't need anyone.

I think the Eu law states that a player under 18 cannot sign a pro contract until he is 18. If Barca signed players under 18 and didn't pay money for them, then it could be a problem, as it means Barca are poaching while the selling club gets no compensation. I do speak under correction though. A selling club should in all honesty be entitled to something for nurturing that player.

FC Sion (SWI) got a transfer ban in June 2009, the appealed and lost. AFTER they lost the ban started (July 2010)

So even if our appeal is rejected we should still be able to sign players this summer. CAS isn't known for speedy decisions.

There is news that the ban starts immediately as some of you have stated.

which is of course odd when your consider how most of these procedures work.

Good, hopefully we can keep moving the decision forward until after January 2015. I think it's more beneficial because we have enough time to prepare for a season without transfers plus the embargo won't be active over two seasons (only summer 2015 and winter 2016).

I don't know about all of the players included, but I do know a compensation was payed for Chendri. I assume the other players are no different.

Still no official statement from the circus of clowns that is our board?

What a bunch of failures.

If true, that throws all the theories of us being able to buy players before the decision on the appeal is made out the window?

I am really, literally getting sick by this string of bad things happening to us. However, I don't know why, in bad times like this my attachment to Barca and my self-perceived identity as a Cule are reinforced stronger than ever.

We will persevere. Visca Barca. For Life. :barca scarf:
