Unfortunately, those performances are based on last season, as you well know. Villarreal came seventh behind Getafe, so based on their performance last season - they're really not THAT good.

Well, it's not about sympathy. I have no love for any other club besides Barca but that doesn't mean all these small clubs deserve to taste the curb just because they have no money.

If UEFA reject Mallorca's appeal I hope it will cause some changes in broadcasting rights that will make the competition more level.

It gets boring when every season comes down to clasicos.

they will have to sell to survive , Pires retired , Ibagaza left, Rossi will be sold for the highest bidder , Cazorla about to move to Atletico Madrid
The only bright spot is the performance of Villarreal B in second division and you have people like Ruben (best player for the B team ) promoted to first team but don't expect the Villarreal of the last couple of years
