well, Man city have everything to win the league. true, Mancini is a dumb frog, but they have the quality even without a manager.
at least City have better chances than Chelsea imo, or than Villarreal or Valencia for sure

and Leeds Utd too

well, I know the top 20 teams in each league, should I consider myself as an oracle or something? :p Would you tell me the exact ranking? Well, I can tell you that the top 7 are known in La Liga before it started (Barca, Real, Valencia, Atletico, Malaga, Sevilla, Bilbao and Villarreal ;)

they made it in 2000 version of EPL. I took my numbers from end of 2000/2001 season so Leeds go out as well :)

Even if tv revenues were shared more equally, it wouldn't change much. Let's say we cut Barça's and RM's tv revenues in half and we give the rest to the other teams. They would each receive about 8 millions euros. Sure it would help them stay afloat, but it would do nothing to stop the domination of the top two clubs.

And I don't see how anyone can say the EPL is a model of fairness when the only two teams who can challenge Manchester United are owned by sugar daddies who do more harm than good by screwing up the transfer market.

Well there is a reason why the sugar daddies prefer investing in shitty EPL teams rather than big La Liga ones. And it's the most popular league, because it's well managed don't you think? L'pool also can put a fight

Nah, I think it's more popular for investors cos of its marketing (and cos of Sky).

Euh, Malaga and Getafe have just been bought by sugar daddies. I don't think they care much about the league as long as they have a new shinny toy to play with.

Charlie Sheen's Protégé
revenue sharing won't do jack unless a hard salary cap is instituted, and that would never be approved (although this is the most effective way to create parity) because it would destroy Catalan/Spanish teams in the Euro competitions. I like how people say that 6 teams in the EPL could conceiveably challenge for the title. Cuz I count three: Manchester City (Middle Eastern oil money, bitches!!), Chelsea (KGB oil money, bitches!!), and Manchester United (capitalist-style revenue generation, bitches!!). Arsenal, Liverpool, and Tottenham have a snowball's chance in hell of unseating United. Honestly, if not for oil money, who is there to challenge United this year? Answer: no one, you have a monopoly.

if fans of the 2nd tier teams in La Liga want to challenge FCB and Real, sell your souls to billionaires around the globe or create a revenue base of fans around the world whereby they buy your jerseys/merchandise like they buy Hello Kitty merchandise.
