Right back at you..

you honestly think your team is that superior to ours right now? Don't forget you are the ones looking up the table at us.

 It has only been 3 games. The premier league is a marathon, where championship clubs sprint past everyone for a few games and never last the entire 38+ weeks. I remember Hull City fans invading Arsenal forums to gloat when they were in 3rd/4th place in October

1- city

2- united

3- arsenal

4- chelseea

5- spurs

6- newcastle

7- liverpool

8- everton

9- west brom

You made some great signings, but also lost Allen, Sinclair, and Sigurddson. It's incredibly rare for a club to come up from the championship and immediately fight for champions league spots. Has it ever happened before? Like I said, top half would be an improvement.

Liverpool and West Brom definitely not better than us

Newcastle and Everton debatable

Liverpool, Newcastle, and Everton have more premier league experience. It's never about the highlight reel, or how many passes you can string together. It's being able to win against Allardyce/ONeill/Pulis teams on rainy away days. It's a marathon where those little mistakes add up, and at the end of the season, clubs with vastly inferior squads to yours (like West Brom) finish above you.

this is what everyone was saying about Newcastle last season. that..... along with you haven't played anyone yet, you haven't played anyone yet as we remained unbeaten in the first 10 games of the season.

Look where Newcastle finished the season.

Because Newcastle is a big club with decades of div1/premier league experience. Not too long ago they were playing Barca in the champions league. They only went down for off the pitch reasons and cut the cancer that was rotting the club from the inside. Swansea are in the top flight for the first time in their entire history, and you think they'll be in 7th after their first ever season in the premiership? I'm not saying they'll never get there, but that it takes time.

Look at the players we signed, de Guzman, Michu, Hernandez, Chico, Ki.. All good players capable of playing for top sides in Europe. Our style has been in the making for years and years so our rise will come quick and sudden.

I honestly don't see many sides better than us in the league man for man let alone as a collective team, we look irresistible this season. We have one of the best keepers in the world, one of the best ball keepers and passers in Britton and a large part of our team has played together for years, something you don't get for most teams.

what decades of Premier League experience do you mean?

only one player has been at Newcastle for a decade and that is goalkeeper Steve Harper.

Do you remember where Newcastle finished in their first season in the Premier League after winning promotion? 3rd. and the season after that.......2nd.

Swansea will finish 7th.
