Puyol the wall

The match was marred by UE's, with some glimpses of shot-making. I think Anfield is just going by the scoreline, because Grigor was indeed the better player of the two, and had set points in the third, which he squandered away. And once he lost the 3rd, so also his composure. Consequently, he was forcing way too much in the fourth, spraying errors everywhere. Even Nadal admitted in the courtside interview that he lucked out in the 3rd, who had a match to forget. His game's clearly hampered by the blisters, as he's unable to generate enough power on his serve, or his forehand, which has been lacking the last 2 matches.
Fed is the big fav here. His serve is on the money, and his court coverage so far has been surprisingly excellent, and he's overall playing better than Nadal atm. I know there is the match-up issue, but I really think Fed has a huge chance to upset Rafa, all things considered. Fed could prevent him from clinching his 14th, just like Rafa did to him at the same tournament some years ago. And I doubt he'll miss this opportunity.

What Rafa's playing with, and will aid a Federer win come friday.

RIP English

I'm not a conformist. For me, languages is of the arts, and can be expressed in n no. of ways. I don't expect my usage of the language to be comprehensible to all, it will, however, not dissuade me from asserting my thoughts. The unorthodox form of writing is intended for the sake of convenience, and continuity. That, you felt the need to be condescending about it, is more a reflection on your inability to think outside of the box and your creative inadequecies. I would've restructured the text, perhaps to your taste, if you'd just asked, instead you choose to take an impudent approach.

Its doing a great disservice to those who take time to formulate an opinion, at the same time furnishing relevant data, that may be of interest to some. To patronize the same for a difference in opinion, or even worse for linguistic reasons in the form of a smiley or a one-word response, is quite honestly a juvenile behaviour, and has no place on a responsible public platform.

Now if you think my English is below your pristine standards, feel free to ignore my posts.

Condescending is not my game, I hardly, if ever, condescend and neither do I patronize, your hypothesis looks pretty deluded to me.

In English, grammar is the most essential, as much as using complex words make a sentence colourful, you ought to ensure that they are used appropriately and the meaning of the sentences doesn't become ambiguous as a result.

Your original post would hardly be deemed polite. If you found parts of the text ambiguous in any way, there are better ways of going about it. Perfecting grammar is not a rule for participating on a public platform, but being respectful, and staying on-topic is. You've added nothing meaningful to the principal subject, rather appear provocative, and pedantic. Perhaps, you can preach the grammar essentials in the Language thread, and leave this thread for those of us who want to discuss Tennis. Believe it or not, there is a sizeable audience here who comprehends my writing. Shocking, I know.

Back on topic,

Cibulkova, and Stan in the finals. Delighted for both of them. :)

when you think, federer looks a lot like nesta, the funny thing is they are both very very elegant and cool

Nadal owns Federer in straight sets. I cannot see Wawrinka causing Nadal any problems at all.
