A person whose team is 2 points away from 5th place, which if Barca gets eliminated means they will play CL.
It is just a wishful thinking from the man, to act like a strong guy fighting for his own club against the big "corrupt" clubs.

Most of the facts the Spanish prosecutors have aren't even public domain yet or their arguments they intend to present. How can any judgement be made on that basis, when nobody knows the full story, let alone UEFA.

In other news on the case though, Estrada Fernandez (who is the one who made the first complaint) asked Medina Cantalejo (current boss of the CTA) to testify on what role Negreira had and his role, if any, in promotions and relegations of referees.

The report on the 4 referees' suspicious real estate assets that apparently wasn't being investigated actually just got sent to the presiding judge of the Negreira case. This could mean that it gets incorporated into the Negreira case or forms part of a seperate case, or is rejected entirely, but it would seem that there has to be some substantive truth about that.

For those that don't know a report was written about the real estate assets of Jaime Latre, Sanchez Martinez, Clos Gomez and Hernandez Hernandez, implying that they were very out of their income range and that they could have been paid for through bribery/corruption. The 4 referees each had real estate worth millions and one had a mansion worth 7.5 million euros, but they were all paid for in cash without financing/mortgages.

Like I mentioned before, I would be shocked if this case had anything to do with the Negreira case, considering both the amount of money allegedly involved among the four referees and the timeline of the alleged purchases (quite recent).
