So you think that Man City who is already interested in new CB ,or Bayern Munich whose new coach is huge Silva fan won't try to sign him if he is available in the market?

Bayern have already spent 37M on Gotze, there might be some other changes they want to make too. Do they have enough budget to get Silva as well? City I guess are the other likely candidate if they want a new CB, Chelsea too. Silvas age might put them off though and they might want to go for someone younger. Also because Barca has a deficiency in defense Silva has more value to them so they are more likely to pay a premium. It would also depend on who Silva is willing to sign for, if he refuses offers from City and Chelsea then they become irrelevent.

I am not saying it's gonna happen, but it is a possibility. Times are changing, the transfer market dynamic is changing with big transfers becoming more normal. For a club that is hitting 500M in revenue 30, 40, even 50M isn't that big of an investment.

Personally I have a good eye for Porto's Mangala. Unfortunately Porto are not going to sell him for free to put it lightly.

I would. Whenever I have seen him for Porto I have been impressed by his overall play. He is still a bit rough but the talent is clearly visible. He is physical beast, strong, FAST and technically above average. The latter not at the level of Hummels or Silva though. But not many are.

They have Varane and Ramos. I don't think they'll be getting a new CB, or at least that they'll want one as much as we do. If I were them, I'd go for a new RB.

Isn't Alonso leaving though? I can definitely see them getting (or at least trying to get) Verratti.

According to the rumors, we're also interested in Marquinhos. I think the best option would be getting Silva and Marquinhos (or some other wonderkid CB), though that would be expensive as hell, and I'm not sure we could pull it off.

Inigo Martinez and Kurt Zouma would be good options too, from what I've heard about them.
