Do we have 40 million though?
Go for it. We get rid of Alves in the process thus giving more time to Montoya
Hi !
There is no clause for Thiago Silva. Simply beause it's not legal in France.
So, if PSG don't want to sell, they won't sell.
He is not french and buyout is drafted according to the rules set by Fifa governing body who set rules and regulation in dealing between two different football associations. Hence France obligated to deal under Fifa rules, agents has to have Fifa license and the transfer should be done during transfer window set by Fifa.
There are no FIFA rules that a player has to have a buy out clause.
Is that what you mean?
@ Duke
recently players have been known to kind of blackmail their club into letting them go, but that's not elegant and is mostly always done when the player is already unhappy.
The way I see it TS sure wants to join and knows he can't keep his sugar daddy level wages in a club with finite funding, but he's also old school and fundamentally not unhappy in Paris. If the transfer is to be done TS should make his case but Barca needs to make an approach to the club first.
I meant their is no rule that french football association can force a ban on buyout clause. It's all depend on how the contract is drafted between the player and the club.
And i repeat that in France, there is no buyout clause in contrat, like it is regularly done in Spain. Clubs can give an oral "bon de sortie" for a specific price but you can't just come and say "hey, this is 45M, now gave us Thiago Silva".
can you pls prove what you say? I searched all over and not one single article saying that you can't have a buyout clause in France! pls attach a link from French Football federation to backup your claim.
You probably can have a buy-out clause, but it is not mandatory like it is in Spain and Portugal.
If there is a buy out clause why would they set it at the same price they bought him for
