Sport and especially Mundo Deportivo are so full of shit it's unbelievable. After Silva's agent said for the 100th time that he won't leave and there were less rumours of Silva joining Barça, they spread the rumour that PSG want Luiz just so they can spread the rumour that Barça want Silva in case Luiz joins PSG. I realize they probably weren't the ones starting with the Luiz rumours but apparently this is how their "journalism" works. I used to think Marca was always spreading BS but then Mundo Deportivo took it to a whole new level. Right now I actually believe that Marca are a reliable sports magazine.

Secure the signing of ter Stegen and then put all the remaining transfer budget plus money from the sales of Villa, Afellay, JdS etc towards trying to buy him. £45m + Alves should do it surely!

Silva alone won't fix your defensive deficiances because it is more to do with balance - or more importantly in Barca's case - lack of balance in the defence which is the major problem.

£45m + Alves for the best CB in the world who still has a good 3-4 years left in him for a team who desperately need a tall, fast, strong, technically gifted defender is fine with me.

It's all up to Silva himself, if he is wants to leave and willing to negotiate his salary. PSG can't do anything if the player decide to join Barcelona and we pay his buy out clause which is believed to be around 40 million.
