Thiago Silva would be absoloutely fine in a high defensive line he is extremely fast, probably one of the fastest cb's around add that to his awesome reading of the game

So do you include among the rejects the world cup winners, the guys who've recently scored against Spain and Barcelona and the guy who's personally won as many CL titles as FC Barcelona has?

They are not english, simple as that.

Though Dalitis did amazing job reminding everyone that ManC has actually won a trophy (FA cup) in a reply to Antonn's attacks towards ManCity.

Dalitis reminds me so much of that retarded english commentator Garay, who said in '07 that out of 8 teams left in CL, Milan has zero chances to win the title.

Andy Gray,yes he predicted United would beat Barca in the final this year,also he was the one who started the running joke that Barcelona would get beat by Stoke on a wet windy night at the Britannia.Exept he weren't joking :lol:

he is a great player for milan but it wont be like duck in a water for him IF he comes to us. he will take time to adopt..best solution to our defensive woes is to bring back botia and promote bartra(better than fontas imo)

Disagree. He is fast, good with the ball, great in the air, very disciplined and I don't think he's had any serious injury problems either. Consider also the fact that he's Brazilian and very mobile for a defender(has played in midfield). All in all, he would be the best option out there for Barcelona.

Does that mean the rumors are substantiated? In any case, I hope we don't go for him. He's world class but the fee would be exorbitant and we should be aiming for younger.

Yeah the fee makes him an unrealistic option, especially after how we splashed the cash in the summer.

Would be fucking awesome though...
