Great game by El Crack considerin the fact that Almeria closed down so effectively and also Andres dropped down the pitch quite a bit. One blot was he tried to dribble his way out of defence only to lose the bal. But, what a confidence, he somehow passes the ball even in tough situations. Keep it comin Thiago. He lost the ball against Villarreal too... That is when he is playing higher up the pitch, the CAM position, the Ineista role. But then when he was withdrawn a bit he played it cool. Same happened yesterday as far as I could read

Thiago did ok. In a match where even Iniesta looked off, it's hard to look for mistakes. That's regarding his midfield contribution. By managing to score a winning goal he's automatically one of our better players of the night.
These minutes will do him good no doubt.

Every game he's going to improve and get a better understanding of when to try flicks or dribbles and when to play it simple. He's young, it'll take time for him to find that. It was a brilliant header, he really attacked the ball well, crucial goal as well.
