Munchen isn't Catalunya(during winter time) ! Thiago will suffer from the freezing temperatures :p

I know this is absurd to a lot of people, but I would totally turn down better offers just to stay at a city/climate I like. I guess I can tell where JdS is coming from.

Some people don't mind the cold weather :p . And Christmas time in Germany is something special and I can't compare it to anything else :thumbsup2:

@Jaden, most of the fans have acknowledged his skills by now and are okay with the move as we think he has a lot of different things to offer to the team. However, I'm not convinced DM is the place for him and I really hope he doesn't play there. Pep said today that Thiago is a competition to Javi and Schweinsteiger so that worries me but I'll wait and see.

Wow..so this forum has gone from hating our own players to celebratting our former players' bad performances in friendlies.

Nobody is butthurt. They're just laughing at his stupidity. We are going to do just fine without him, he will probably have a good career but he would have had a better one if he stayed here.

You missed the worst, I guess. that's light, compared to other stuff on this same thread. In the mean time, jds is hated for insisting on staying.

Says who? Do you have a crystal ball or something?

Yeah..I guess loyalty is only a one way street for some. For them it's perfectly alright to have a player that is promised a new contract once he plays a game thrown out of the club or another that desperatelly wants to make it at our club reffered too by the coach when he says that Barca is not a social club or pay 39M euros for a player that chooses to leave us when we were in awfull state and who is reminded that Barca is his home only after we won the CL and played amazing football..but God forbidd that someone that has refused offers from english clubs since he was 16y.o. wants to leave Barcelona because he thinks he has better chances of succeeding someplace else and leaves us in the process more money than Rosell manage to get for Ibra. Then all they can do is to laugh at that player..and not when he plays against us or when he fails in a CL game, but when he played badly in a friendly.

I guess that it should be expected when you support a club who's fans whistled an 18 yo.o canterano..but it's not any less sad.

Bad game against MC?? From my perspective, watching the first half he is miles above most of Bayern players at positioning himself to safely receive the ball as well as seeing the options. He receives the ball with room to move/turn/pass- the other Bayern players let themselves be more closely marked.

Observation: the player who looks the most out of place in Pep's Bayern is Muller. He has never had a great touch, and I can't see him anywhere but as a #9. Not good enough for Pep's midfield. On the other hand, I expect Robben to excel this year under Pep's tactics. A more controlled passing game suits him.
