There was an interview where Thiago said he feels more Spanish than Brazilian. He's been playing for Spain since the u16 level and got capped for the senior NT in 2011, he ain't no Diego Costa. He's Spanish with a little Dinho in him.

Rafinha on the other hand is a good choice going forward for the Brazilian midfield. Industrial and hardworking, plus he's creative. I don't think he should've been called up as there were other more deserving players (Coutinho, Firmino) but he certainly would've been better than Bernard and could be a valuable member of that squad if he was in it.

Imagine a Brazil midfield of Coutinho, Rafinha and Firmino. Moura and Neymar on the flanks, now wouldn't that be jogo bonito?

. They honestly could try Firmino at CF . He wouldn't be a full out #9, but who gives a shit when it allows you to hurl Fred's ass to the curb.

Why not? Or even false 9 interchanging with Neymar but then Scolari wouldn't even fathom of thinking out of the box. Fred and Joe it is with Hulk in the Zico role :D

it seems obvious that Brazil (over the next 5-10 years) should start with Neymar, Oscar, Lucas & Coutinho as their front 4 attacking options. all interchanging with each other throughout the course of a game. if Rafinha develops like he should then he obviously needs to be involved as well.
