Really feel this over rating of Eriksen is getting excessive. He's good, sure, but he's not THAT good. In any case, most of the time he doesn't even play cm for Tottenham. Personally would rather have Dembele, even though he's 30? now.

Eriksen should be the priority signing in my opinion, along with Arthur, who must be brought in in the summer already. The perfect Iniesta replacement, and a Xavi-esque player, who wouldn't cost much, but can become really good for us in finally fixing the midfield controller position. Both together could return our midfield to a place where Messi doesn't need to drop back every match, because we wouldn't get a quality pass to the final third of the pitch otherwise. It would be nice to get both Eriksen and Griezmann of course, but for that we'd need to sell out all the trash, including players who are doing okay, but can't add anything more to the team than a La Masia graduate could, on a much lower wages at that too. The prime example being Paulinho, Digne and Paco, if we promoted Alena, Cucu and Arnaiz. Add to that the real trash that should be sold no matter what (Gomes, Vidal, Rafinha, Denis?) and we would get more than enough from all those sales to buy Eriksen as well, since Griezmann seems to be the priority signing. But that's sadly a much too advanced thinking for this Board, i'm afraid.

Who is going to play as CM if we buy Eriksen can you please explain? With having Coutinho our priority should be CM and not another AM.

First he run away for Bayern and Pep skirts....Now that Bayern has James, Goretzka and others he wants to return.
Could have said that last year...

Bayern wont sell cheap. Are there rumours reliable or the usual garbage from Mundo Deportivo?

He turned 27 recently.

A midfield with Busi, Coutinho and Thiago...God damn.

Arthur is hopefully coming, and until he's settled in, Raki can still cover the CM position, along with Sergi Roberto, with Semedo hopefully playing RB regularly. If Arthur doesn't work out, we can always go for someone like Frenkie De Jong or Fabian Ruiz next summer.

No way. Too risky.

We're not going to sign Thiago or Eriksen. Griezmann and Arthur will be our only transfers. Perhaps Lenglet too.

Frankie De Jong is still to young, same story with Arthur. The might come but they for sure won’t have central role immediately, even if thay prove to be good signings. We can’t risk like that and lose another year in CL. With Iniesta gone I would take Thiago back in a heartbeat.

Griezmann, arthur and selling some players is a good window

However another midfielder would be ideal and Barca should also think about the long term replacements for both Alba and Pique

Then who would you get? As long as Valverde is here (which will hopefully only be for one more season), Rakitic is practically cemented in the lineup, since he adds the defensive contribution and toughness. Hopefully we'll transform back to having quick, technical CMs after that, so that after Rakitic is gone, players like Arthur or De Jong would fit into our system and actually play.

I disagree. We need someone to step in the midfield right now and start right away. Need an upgrade on Rakitic and do something with Suarez if we are to compete in the CL again because forget winning, last few seasons we're barely competing.

Too bad we didn't sign Kondogbia or a proper workhorse instead of Paulinho who's like a donkey-cart instead. One Non-EU spot is wasted on him.

Easy. He´s already here.

Busquets

Rakitic - Coutinho

Coutinho has to play in midfield. No other way around. Specially if Griezmann is coming.
