He's generally really good in bigger matches no doubt, but his consistency over the course of a season isn't what it was, and he makes a lot more mistakes then he used to. I mean, it's not like he costs us a tonne of games or anything but he's never going to be as good as he was those years. Right now he's as close to that kind of form as he has been since the injury but consistency still evades him and he makes some glaring errors, but thankfully not so much in the bigger games. That said, I'm not saying Courtois is perfect but I do think he'll be better than Cech in the end. Why not cash on in Cech for a pretty decent wad of cash and keep the younger one who can serve as our keeper for 10+ years? It's better than getting rid of the younger guy, Cech getting old and then we'll have to pay a tonne of money for a top class keeper to replace him.
