Thierry Henry

Anxiously waiting for the next match
Jeez guys he's played a total of like 3 league games in a league that's been ongoing for months. He's had a few assists, is still not fully fit and is having trouble with a nagging muscle problem. He's missed a few sitters but its certainly no cause to tell him to hang up the boots...

The pace and level of skill in MLS may be far below the European leagues but because the physicality is much higher, its not an easy league to just pop into midseason. Both Henry and Marquez have said that it is the most physical league they've played in, including the EPL.

5 games and has done nothing and missed a couple break aways

He scored in his first game against Tottenham, and like I said he has contributed with assists and pulling defenders with his pace (which he still has a good bit of...)

The goals will come, he is struggling with fitness at the moment and jumping into a physical league while everyone else has been fully fit for months is not easy. Yes, he's missed sitters and its a bit worrying but to suggest that a disastrous end to his career is a foregone conclusion is a bit over the top.

Next time I go to a Knicks game I'm going to keep a look out for Titi in the front row.

Ha! Are you from NY? For some reason I remember you being from Canada..

For those who are interested, here's a special Fox Soccer Channel did on his arrival. A lot of the American media will be pretty cheesy to you guys but its got a lot of cool interviews with Thierry.

his touch has been off form but he is getting chances, angel is clearly the man on red bulls and if henry can play up to par nobody is stopping new york from winning the mls cup

Angel is still a good finisher, he can't take on defenders for shit but now that Henry is drawing all the marks he's scoring again.

I'm from NY, I was living in Canada until last month, now I'm in DC. I support New York sports teams except for hockey. I've never really been able to bond with the Red Bulls, I've been following them sine the MetroStars days but more as a curiosity than anything else, but since I'm a big Marquez and JPA fan this year I'm finding the Red Bulls a little more watchable.

Yeah to be honest I didn't follow them before this season because going to games at Giants stadium was awful, Red Bull Arena is great though.

Henry opened his scoring account tonight and almost scored another phenomenal chip shot. I told you guys there was nothing to cry about...

Congrats on Titi for opening his MLS account, hopefully the Bulls can go all the way.

Both him and Rafa really seem to be enjoying themselves.

noooo nolan, you defected from canada :(

I will return! I couldn't get into a top Canadian law school and wanted to go to the best school I could get into. I consider myself more loyal to Canada than the US.

A promotional image for an upcoming match against Dallas, cross promoting for Kiss who also will play there...Luckily for Titi's integrity, this image was photoshopped...Else, for shame Henry
