Toni Kroos

hopefully its true and we can have a repetition of beckam/ronaldinho thing.

Real madrid gets our primary target (kroos), and we end up with our secondary (james rodrigez)

So we let RM take Kroos, A CM valued at between 20-30m and then go on to buy James, an AM who Monaco wont let go for atleast 45m but more likely 50m+.

That's bound to be Miralem Pjanic if anything.

For what it's worth, Catalan media reporting that we're not interested in Kroos.

Makes no sense. A few days ago they reported that we made a formal offer and suddenly we're not interested anymore.

It was a german newspaper (kicker) who reported that, i think.

Yeah but some other newspaper (including DiMarzio etc.) said that we want Kroos. I can remember that some Catalan journalists said it too. Don't know who exactly though.

Toni Kroos would be a splended addition but people here are worried about the short passes. :cesc:

But I don't think that would be a problem at all. Just saying.

People here just want a carbon copy of the previous player (Xavi) just with a different name.

News Flash BF, it's not gonna happen so make due with the best you got or can get.

Agree there. A major problem is trying to recreate the same team with the same players but older or getting new players to sacrifice their whole game to play like someone else did in 2011.

If you want a ''new'' player, people say that he doesn't ''suit our style''

If you want a player who could fit in our current style people say that we should move on and try something new.

lol

I think you can still get new players that fit the style we are trying to play without trying to have exact same type players in the exact same formation.

For example I would like us to move away from the false nine formation because it's been figured out and doesn't suit our players. Messi doesn't have space between the lines to exploit anymore and we don't have prime Villa and Pedro to make it work.

I fully agree but you know that Barca fans are never pleased. Kroos would be a good addition and he worked very well in Heynckes more direct system.
