Why would he announce it now? He would get in trouble with Low, Bayern and the german media for not concentrating on the world cup. He is obviously going to deny it, if anything happens it will be after the world cup and i imagine it will start a chain reaction of transfers: Kroos to Real, Di maria to psg/monaco and so on. Most reputable sources have said it will be announced after the WC anyway.

50% top tax so he will earn around 6m net if the figures are true. which is only slightly short of Iniesta, so you see why Barca would stay out of it
