Vilanova: "It's not true I only asked for Thiago Silva. I like him, but if he doesn't come, there are other options. We need a centre back."

At least we know that we will definitely buy a CB, but the question is who?
That quote was a relief... I just hope it's a good cb.

Its surely relief for not concentrating only on him but its worrying for who we will buy.Which are the good available options out there this moment really?I see them paying a big amout for David Luiz..

Thank God. I just hope the other options are good, and not Rami, Luiz, etc.

Cesc is going nowhere. You have to able to smell out which rumors are plausible.

Such as Valbuena. Neymar is the skinniest player in the world. Tiny is Barca. Valbuena is incredibly short.

He suited to playing a high line as you can see for brazil. He's good enough on the ball for barca and can give the height and aerial strength we don't have with masch. His defensive skills are also not as bad as people make out, he just looks bad in Chelsea's system.

From all the Tito quotes coming up today all over the place, it seems that our main target is a CB now. Now we just have to hold our breaths and wait.

Also said he talked to Cesc said he's willing to stay and fight for his place, so this means we can stop it with all the Man U poaching him nonsense. Cesc staying will also give time for Roberto and whomever else to rise in the ranks to wipe out the memories of Thiago.

All hands on deck. Set sails towards a CB and let the season start. Enough drama already.

Thats because he had Thiago Silva beside him.

At Barca he will have Pique. ......

Yes sir, you're right - because every time a coach or sports director has said that a player will stay...

Why should he leave? Shows massive potential and I'm sure Pep will use him often, like Heynckes did last season. Sometimes you have to trust statements made by the clubs.
