If he's out, we need Cavani at any rate, more than Di Maria.

The FFP might haunt us for years. we can't let go a world class striker like Cavani knowing that tomorrow we might not be able to buy one again.

PSG is brainstorming hard at the moment according to Le_Parisien. Because of FFP they have to plan things even for next year from now.

Why not sell lavezzi and get di maria, then?

To buy Di Maria, we need to sell Lavezzi (25M) + Pastore (25M) + Rabiot (10M)

And lets be honest, who would be crazy enough to offer 25M on Pastore who does shit for now 2 seasons ina row.

And even so, we would lose 3 players and only get 1. That would mean to weaken the squad.

According to french medias, we just can't sign Di Maria right now, and Qataries refuse to weaken the squad in selling Cavani or Verratti.

And i don't even talk about marquinhos, as said in other threads, we would need to replace him and it would be a nightmare to find a good CB for cheap (impossible actually for us, because as you know it, when PSG wants a player, all clubs want them to overpay because "they are psg". Hell, even Toulouse is asking 2-3 millions more than their initial price for Aurier, because "we are PSG"), that's why our board is totally against it.

I think he'd strenght the squad, although you'd lose depth.
