I saw him few times out in the disco in Zagreb 7 years ago together with Callelo and some other nobody. Didn't even know who he was until who knew everything about Dinamo pointed them out. Sammir and his friends looked like some random gypsies.
Whata lucky bastard

Danish media is linking John Terry (!) with a summer move to Danish side Brøndby IF, where Daniel Agger plays.
The reasons for this oddball rumor is first and foremost because of businessman and main investor in Brøndby, Jan Bech Andersen, who's tight with Terry. He's been trying to convince him for for a good while, and claims it's a dream to see Terry play here. Secondly John Terry has suddenly started following Brøndby's Instagram account, which - for the media - seems to be of huge significance.

Bizarro world is bizarre.

Those are truly Terryfying rumours

Why not? Denmark is great.

Our league is in a fairly pathetic state, and Brøndby, while being the club with the most merit historically speaking, is even worse off. Hell, we haven't fought for the league for what seems like ages, and right now there's noting that suggests that we will any time soon.

I get the whole deal about some lower level fun during your last years as a player, but usually it involves going to a more illustrious place than suburban Denmark...

I don't get why he'd go to this current Inter and Serie A. Money is likely the main reason but Sevilla right now is a better team playing in a better league and with more chances to win trophies.

Is anyone here following Ajax or Eredivisie closely? I'm interested in your thoughts about Arkadiusz Milik and Riechedly Bazoer. I watch their last liga match and came out pretty impressed with both of them. There were also rumours we are interested in Bazoer but the latest I read is that Chelsea is going hard after him.

I don't think it's money.

2 reasons:
1. Argentinians have a connection with Inter and Serie A in general (half of them being of Italian descent)
2. He could earn more in EPL

Bazoer recently said its his dream to play for Barca. If we are smart with this we sign him now and just loan him to them to develop for a few seasons before another club snatches him up and we need to pay 80+ in 4 seasons.

A lot of players say they dream to play for one club and sign for another, even rival club.

If he's willing to accept that loan idea I'm ok with this but I doubt he'd really want to go to another La Liga club or stay on loan at Ajax for 2-3 years (also, how would he develop staying there or going to Sevilla/Villarreal type of club?). Right now we don't have a place for him in our team and there are rumours that Pep also wants him. And City needs midfielders way more than we do so he'd get playing time (and better wage) there.

Not to say that City (if Pep reallly wants him) would be prepared to pay more for him and Ajax would be more likely to sell to them. How much would he cost anyway?

like Bazoer a lot but don't think he is ready for our level at the moment, seems a very sensible lad after turning down a move to Napoli.

I know. We are talking about future investment. I think we agree that he won't be in Ajax in 2 or 3 years when we'll need some reinforcements for our midfield. If he's still there then something will go wrong and his development will be stalled. I like Ajax but you can only improve so much playing in Eredivisie, at some point you have to go to a better club/league.

Also, I was thinking about that Chelsea model of buying youngsters and loaning them out. Of course they almost never brought them back longterm but if they develop good in other clubs (like Lukaku or De Bruyne) they are capable of selling them for good price. I think we could do something similar. Of course not having 20 or 30 players on loan like they have but we could buy a talented youngster or two around 18-19 yo from smaller Primera clubs (some of them have a pretty low buyout clauses and most of spanish clubs need to sell to survive) every season (I think we could afford to give around 10M€ per year for that) and also find a "feeder" club to loan these players to them like they have Vitesse. Preferably in La Liga (if that's legal; I don't see a reason why it wouldn't be) or we could always loan them back to their current club if they would be willing to sell for a bit less in that case. I think we started something good with both Denis Suarez and Halilovic and I'd like to continue that way but concentrate more on spanish clubs where there are a lot of great and cheap talented players. That's if we find and buy them at the right time.

Last January Napoli reached agreement with Ajax for Bazoer for 25M in addition to huge add-ons but he rejected the deal
Bazoer is the kind of player you have to make a decision about him ,he isn't the kind of Halilovic/D.Suarez kind of prospect you can buy for cheap trying to make a long term low risk player . if you sign him you have to be fully committed to his development because he will be costly .

I take it that this is the transfer-thread for barca? Anyways, i heard time and time again that Barca have financial troubles, so that they cant buy player x or player y. Is this true? Why would Barca be struggling, with all that success, tv-deal in Spain, comercials etc?
