Deal would make some sense if Koeman didn't trust him (possible) and he went on loan without an option to buy. They've basically written him off and want the money back. And are willing to take the risk.

Given the attacking players Barca have it is better for club and Trincao to go out on loan and get minutes.

Could easily be scenario he plays less than last season and value drops further.

At least this way he gets minutes and chance to keep value with Wolves having to give the cash in full next summer if succeeds.

They are that desperate to get salaries reduced wont wait about for another deal.

More to do with this:
Sounds like we currently cannot even register Memphis Depay, Eric Garcia and our other signings for La Liga, let alone Messi, unless we get rid of some players with a high salary or convince them to take a paycut.

Which more or less aligns with that Javier Tebas said recently.
We are going to have to be patient for a while. Luckily though, not many if any great deals are available right now on the market, maybe Eduardo Camavinga or Patson Daka (never seen him)?

Barca has no say in it. Probably already dealt with Trincao too. If they want him for the set price at the end of the season, they'll have him. Can't remember a single example of a player blocking an option to buy and turning the club down

Obligatory means the club a player's loaned to has tu buy, not (only) that the club the player comes from has to sell. That's already granted by an option to buy.

I see what you’re saying now.

Again, it still is not a fleecing. We signed him right in the beginning of the pandemic before the market was depressed in general so while on paper it may be an 11 million loss, it is a whole lot better than the Coutinho situation in comparison and really 30 million is a pretty fair evaluation.

The goal here is to lower the wage bill right now, this achieves that so we cannot really be butthurt right now over not getting more, especially in this market. We can make it up elsewhere.

I don't understand. There are some players who get chance after chance like Andre Gomes, Fucking Dumbele, Lenglet and Ter Stegen. Guys like Trincao are just off loaded without being given any real opportunity.
