He was up against Shaw and Maguire .. with a midfield of Pogba and Fernandes ffs

He missed ONE chance .. and if I am not mistaken it was a snatched shot with his Ruhr foot ?

It was open goal from a perfect pass. Should've controlled the ball and finished it, instead he tried a first time shot with his weak foot when we all know he's got a terrible one. It was a moment of poor decision making and composure. You can see why he struggled at Barcelona.

That is simply ridiculous to come to that conclusion after off one error of judgment in 90 minutes of brilliant play .

Messi gave the ball away more than any player in Barca history.. think about that stat !

He was always good dribbling but no end product.

Always ?? You talk like he is a seasoned pro .., he is still a kid .

Another great performance, tv pundits raving about his ability to break out of defence and create chances for others.

He won the ball then broke from his penalty box .. went on a 70 yard mazy run and put a chance on a plate that was missed o

We have no wide dribbling players who are healthy atm. Ansu has been injured, Dembele injured again, Konrad sent to OM and Collado not even registered

Griezmann was sold but he is neither a wide player nor a dribbler to provide width. Trincao had his chances last season and failed miserably the majority of the time - he is much more cut out for the Premiership in open spaces

Should've kept him. At least he could dribble past some players and create chances for Memphis.

Yeah, if Laporta's plan was all along to let Messi go (which seems more and more likely to me but ofc we'll never know for sure) and offload Griezmann (I think that was one of his main goals) then sending Trincao on loan so early made little sense. He was basically the first player we got rid off even though there were (and some still are) like 10 players that should leave before him.

Wolves love their Portuguese players and they would still take him in last weeks/days of August or Mendes could easily find him another club that would give him a chance due to his age/potential so I think we could have wait and give him at least a full preseason before making a decision. And after Messi left and if he'd have a solid preseason Koeman could actually decide to keep Trincao. With all the injuries he would clearly be useful right now.

He was used mostly as a sub in last 20 mins here. Early 2021, from Jan to Feb, he was really on form before Koeman changed tactic.

Anyway, it's good that he has perfect enviroment to develop himself. Playing in a top league in the world while being one of team starter.

He is praised by EPL fans now.

Don't think his wages are that high. Would probably take pay cut if asked and we've kept more useless players on higher salary anyway.

Disagree. He was decent from February onwards.
