is it just me or is his best position is not as a winger in this 4231 but in the position where Messi plays in that right half space?

I honestly think if Dembele gets injured/suspended, I honestly would replace him with Dest instead of Trincao if we're playing the current 4231.

A slow winger is something as obsolete as a physically weak defensive mid.

He looks so non-threatening with the ball, you just know he isn't going to cut through a defense like a Sane, Mane, Salah, Coman, Dembele, and Neymar would. Don't understand this club's current obsession with boring wingers.

Another brilliant transfer from Barto & co. This guy is on the level of mid table team. He should be sold in January while there is still interest in the market, otherwise we'll lose money on him for sure. Just promote Kondrad instead of him and we'll be fine. Moreover, with the sale of Trincao we could probably finance signings of Garcia and Depay.

Ridiculous overreactions. Either brilliant, decade of dominance and stuff or total crap, segunda B level. Nothing in between.

Pretty good game from Trincao. Was a constant threat upfront and caused problems. Perhaps not the strongest of opponents but definitely positive signs of what is yet to come.

He needs time to develop and needs games to do so. Therefore, it would have been better for him personally to loan him to a La Liga team so he can develop under less pressure.

BUT, there are many games and it is very important to have different options. Imo, it was the right decision to keep him. As you can see with the injuries of Coutinho and Ansu, you rarely have all players available and I like that there is competition within the squad, at least between the younger ones.
