tbf ,that was b4 our team started clicking ,when he played us in the 2nd game in 1/4 finals he was poor .
Verratti is gr8 overall though and probably will be one of the best midfielder of his generation .but people tend to overrate his game a bit for now .
While many won't feel he gets the deserved hype in comparison to other players,I rarely see anyone who points out to his area of weaknesses

He only played in the 2nd match and he was great.

My feeling of the PSG match is that they were brilliant, stylish and could have had 5 or 6, but just didn't have luck on their side. Sometimes it's like that in football. Hope it doesn't bite them in the second leg as they're much better on the eye than Chelsea.

5 or 6? What game were you watching? I agree that PSG was the better team but not by a large margin. Costa should have scored the 1:0 with 1st clear cut chance in the game and Zlatan's free kick was a bit lucky. It was not like Paris was dominating Chelsea the whole game.

65% of the ball, 20 shots, 8 on target. They just kind of needed to score in the opening 20 and not switch off in the last minute and they would have cruised the game, scoring at least four, as they looked really up for it (especially Lucas and Di Maria). Just my opinion friend.

Everyone knew that possession stats would look like this because Chelsea is not interested in keeping possession but sitting deep and play on the counter. Shots on target do not mean that all shots were dangerous or big chances. I watched the game and agree that PSG was the better team but nowhere near dominating Chelsea. The scoreline reflects the game pretty well imo.

10 more shots, 20% more possession, completed 13 more dribbles, handed Chelsea their first loss in over a month, etc. I watched the game and think some of you are having a laugh imo.

I'm just saying, at times it felt a bit like Barca's 1-0 loss to Chelsea away in 2012. Had Barcelona taken an early lead they'd most likely have turned the screw and gone on to win comfortably. As it was luck wasn't on their side and they lost. Happens in football.

No Danilo which is great. We are risking Marcelo, hopefully he doesn't have a relapse. I'm just hoping Zidane does his subs right, bringing in Kovacic,Jese and Lucas would be devastating vs a tired Roma.
