Dude messi was in terrible physical condition since he came back from injury.
You forgot all the "he's so slow now" and "he's saving himself for the wc" posts? And then the wc came and messi was still walking past 50mins because of stamina and was throwing up all over the place.
I know you would like to believe that your team beat a fit messi but it's rly not how it happened, everyone else on the pitch was in much better physical condition than him.
He should have snorted some coke like maradona, then it would be a different game, :lucho: .

Subjunctives. This isn't much different with Ronaldo. Everytime both have an invisible game its somethingsomethingphysicalcondition. Didn't germany beat a fit Messi in 2010 too?
I know you like Messi, but he had an absolute off-game there, people scapegoated Higuain/Palacio etc, but Messi wasn't A LOT better really. He was very isolated by the three I mentioned (Schweinsteiger, Boateng, Hummels) got dispossessed way to often, couldn't set up a chance and missed the WC winning goal in a 1on1 with Neuer. Before that match he was carrying Argentina, but suddenly "physical condition" appears straight when he lost for once?
He's the GoAT but he cooks with water.

Your bias for your team is taking you over.
I said that messi was in terrible condition for 5 months, go read his thread after january 2014.

My bias isn't taking voer, I'm simply defending my team over your claims that we would be allegedly no match for Messi, had he been "fit". I find this disrespectful, really. Noone asked us about our physical conditon either.

It's funny that we are sad Bayern went through, when we might have in fact got rid of Juventus. Last time I checked, Juventus wa the 2nd best team in Europe last season, and CL finalist. And they were the better team in the tie vs Bayern. So, we should really look at it the other way perhaps.

I respectfully disagree, serghei. Just because Juventus was in the CL final last season, it did not make them the 2nd best team in the world last season. We, Bayern and Real Madrid were the three best teams last season. This season, we and Bayern are the best, one can argue Real Madrid is a notch down by to me they are still one of the best teams.

In addition, Bayern was the better team in that tie, even though they let in quite quite a few goals. They were truly missing the presence of Boateng and to a lesser degree Martinez, now they will have them.

Fuck Bayern!

Guys, it is not 2014 any more. Quit arguing over who owned who at the WC, would you please?

This is 2016, the year of Trump! :yucky:

Well, your players were all happy running around for 120 minutes, seemed energetic and well paced, while messi was throwing up in the sidelines and was into walking mode from the 2nd half onward. Unless you think he was lazy, you have to admit that something was wrong with him.

Beating Juve in extra time and only because of ref "error" is not really something to be cheery about but let them Bayern fans have their day.

Noone is guaranteed a win in CL and we learned how luck plays it's part many times. But if Barca are playing their game noone can stop them.

There might have been something wrong, but you're already assuming wild subjunctives that the game would have been won singlehandedly by Messi, had that not occured.
German palyers were far from "happily running around", they were fighting through the pain.

You can easily turn this around and it would be a way different approach of course.

I think the approach in first leg was very serious from barca, nevertheless they created (with players like giroud walcott ox) some clear cut chances.
the likes of mueller robben lewandowski arent that chokers in front of the goal.

I don't care who we play, cause when Barca are in form their a level above everyone else, imo. I just want the second leg at home please.

Arsenal had a clear chance (Oxlade), a good chance (Giroud's header), and some semi-chances in England. Don't believe the hype. We had a 4 huge chances (Suarez header, Neymar header, Neymar 1 vs 1 with Cech, Suarez post). It was like 1-4 on clear cut chances, and that without including the goals.

thank you for the explanation, I saw the games by myself.

I just pointed out that teams like bayern, could have scored 3-4 goals over 2 legs with the chances arsenal had.

Complacency and fatigue are oour biggest enemies. We can definitely beat Bayern though, lets just wait for the draw and see what happens.
