I'm a pessimist. Atletico will probably have their hearts ripped out by Real again. They seem to have their number in CL.

It all looks to good to be true. Casemiro out, Benzema out, and Cristiano just coming back form injury. On paper, it looks like City have a great chance but I'm expecting Real to trash them by at least 3 goals. I can't trust a Pellegrini team who created ZERO chances at HOME to do something at the Bernabeu.

Seriously, don't think people here have realised it yet.
They will make him cruijff's counterpart.

I'm glad you guys brought this up. I'm dreading the collective orgasm the public will have if he wins this trophy. He is already being hyped up to obnoxious levels as it is. I don't think I can take it if he actually wins.

Facts remain he was brought in to win the CL but failed to do so. Not like he was brought in to win the bundesliga as anybody who coaches them will win that. People will judge him in his CL success. Like it or not.

It's a thin line between love and hate. Especially in football. Lucho could have lost both CL and La liga last season easily. It's not like we dominated 10+ points over second qualified in domestic league and in the CL final...well that's one game, anything can happen.
In fact, this season is a great proof for that. We are better team then RM (or we were), but it looks like they will win CL...and who knows, maybe even La liga...and remember they are the one who are having "horrible" season.
Football! We had 7 successful matches against Atletico straight and only one was enough to kick us out of the CL.

God...Bayern completely dismantled them yesterday. They just had luck on their side, and I don't like that since I can see them choking against Madrid in final (if they beat City).

We have gone out deservedly, Bayern hasnt. Bayern ran, pressed and tried. We didn't. Unfortunately, thats football. We have ran 8km less in just 1st half against them, Bayern was few km down by the end of the game.

Prediction time!

Going to say 2-0 for Real Madrid. I just don't see City doing much.

Yesterday still hurts. I just hope for an enjoyable match.

Part of me wants to believe so bad that City can pull off a result and go through on away goals. But this is the team that got hammered by Southampton this past weekend. Madrid making it to the finals would be one of the worst feelings ever with all of their luck and easy draws.

I will forgive Aguero for every shit performance he's had in the past, including Argentina, if he can bring down Madrid tonight.

AFAIK City fielded loads of reserves against Southampton. But yeah, I'm not exactly getting my hopes up either.

I think Touré could be a great sub, but shouldn't play as a starter.

He just doesn't have the legs go for 60 minutes until the Ivorian gets tired, let alone 90.

Also, Toure seems to be quite poor defensivly.

Hope he proves me wrong though.

I think it's SUPER stupid for Ronaldo to start. Most of the articles the past few days were about famous doctors saying that Cristiano should definitely miss this match. Even the Portugese NT doctor said that Ronaldo could even miss the EURO's if he starts tonight. He got injured recently then he got another freaking injury and a week later he's starting in the semi-final. I'm expecting zero work-rate from him tonight. It's an important match and all but he's risking way too much.

Navas is waste of space and Aguero not the most consistent so the goals will have to come from yaya, de bruyne or fernandinho. I want believe but I'm already prepared for the nauseating headlines of a madrid win.

Same here, not very confident unfortunately .. :(
