When a quality opponent is defending deep, Aguero is not the answer up top. With no support he was completely shut by Ramos. City missed Silva's skills to weave through defenses. Their transitional play was slow, and there was barely any willingness to go direct and unsettle the madrid defence. I personally would have brought on Kolarov in place of Sterling and Bony instead of Iheanacho who had zero presence in the box.

If you were to have a drinking game where you took a shot every time City had a chance on goal in this game, you'd be more sober now than you were before the game started.

6 Ballons for Messi

but what if he wins 7??
City players showed as much passion about reaching the final as their fans when they boo the cl anthem in their home games.
Bit of a sour grapes mentality.

Simeone better show his team the 2014 tape so they go all out motivated in the final.

Atletico are better now than 2014 and Real are worse, Zidane is not a good manager and I can't see him getting the better of Simeone in the final.

I'm still shocked at that display. They need to be banned from football. Fuk that pussy primadonna team. I also feel sorry that messi has to play side by side with that pussy aguero.

I have Atletico as clear favorites as well. Of course everything can happen in a final, and these games sort of have their own "life" to them which makes them very unpredictable, but judging from what I've seen from both teams far this season, Atletico looks like an improved version of themselves two years ago, and RM a bit weaker. The top level of Ancelotti's RM with regards to attack was freakin' scary.

Hahaha, over at bluemoon they locked the forum under login screen for tonight, they are so cowardly just like their team.
Mby I'll make an account over there, will need it for the pep era as well.

Juventus was through a bad patch at the time. They got 1st place, got paired with Kiev, who was one of the weakest left, then met an injury ridden PSG and fluked their way in the semis. Then they get Madrid of course, and manage to have like 4 good shots in two games.

It was more of a rhetorical question :)

Think that's a good idea. Can you imagine trying to moderate that thing after this kind of performance? People must be fuming. Only smart to let things settle down a little before opening up the floodgates.
