Funny you're saying then when you don't even want the club to start building for that now by inducing young blood in the squad, and constantly advocate for buying players 28 and over.

Can't have it both ways BBZ.

Oh, I changed my mind, mate.

Until our CL exit, I thought that we need to build around Messi and around the current team and I thought that we can win 1-2 CL titles in the next 2-3 years.

After this year, I lost faith in the current team.
They won too many trophies with Barca and with Nt teams (Busi, Iniesta, Alba, Alves, Pique, Masch, Messi).
This ship can only go down from now on.

So, I am with you and other guys now.
I have even jumped to a Pogba-ship lately.

We need fresh blood, motivation and some new players.

If not, we will see Rijkaard's team from 2007-2008 in the upcoming years, with Messi and Neymar instead of Ronnie and Deco.

F***ing Real, we can say that they are lucky, poor or something.
But they do have a bigger desire currently than our team. (Of course, that is because we won more titles lately, but that's how it goes. When you are winning too much, you are losing desire. When you are losing, like them, you are full of motivation.
Even that prick CR7, I mean, he scored a goal with his hands tonight, lol.
He is an idiot, but you can see a desire miles around him.

Now compare Cr7's and Bale's current desire in CL matches with Neymadonna and Messi's against AM.
People will say that it is only about luck, but it isn't.
Our batteries (of motivation) are totally empty.
And there is a huge chance that this team, without new blood, is irreparable, and lost their motivation forever (except for La liga and Cdr titles...)

It is how much importance you give to a domestic League.
Real was named the best team of a 20th century not because of League titles, since other teams have a lot more domestic titles than Real.

Why Real is (or was, or again is?) a biggest team in Europe is a number of a CL titles.

When 10 or 20 years pass, no one care/knows how the title was won.
Today, nobody care how lucky we were in 1992 when we almost lost before a final (was in semis or qf, with a late goal in a 2nd leg), or how we won with a free kick goal in extra time?
Who cares, we won our first CL in 1992.

Or how Real won titles in 1998, 2000 and 2002 while they were 4th and 5th in La Liga?
Who cares?
That generation will always be remembered as a generation which won the highest amount of CLs in a 5 year period in the last 20 years...

Who will remember in 10 years how Real won titles in 2014 and in 2016?
Nobody...
Who cares today how referees helped us against Chelsea?
Nobody...
We are looking at that year as one of the best years in our history, referees, luck or other factors are forgotten after 2-3 years.

I mean, yes, we were more dominant in La ligas lately, true.
But just imagine Real winning a CL this season.
Or something worse, imagine our team being weaker, older and less motivated in the next 2-3 season, and just imagine if Real somehow wins a CL again in 2017 or 2018.

So, instead of our domination, Real has a chance to create new Galacticos, and in 20 years people will say/think that Real was as equally as good as Barca.
Or that CR7 was as good (at least in CLs with Real) as Messi.

I just have no words currently.

We have Messi, we have Msn, we have the most expensive team which Barca ever have in our history, and f***ing Real is winning CL after a CL lately.

What will happen when Messi will be gone?
I am afraid to even think about it.

This post is quite utterly pessimistic.

As things stand barça is hands down the best club in the 21st century and even from a CL obsessed standpoint, Ligas get you trebles.

On the other hand, Atletico's rise is much worse for RM than it is for us.

BBZ, you're overreating.

1. Real probably has more chances of finishing with 0 thropies the 2nd season in a row than the other way around for now.
2. Who cares what people will remember. Real will be remembered for the record number of CL/European Cups won, Barca will probably be remembered as the best team ever during Pep, only team to win 6/6 possible thropies in a calendar year. Plenty of records for different teams.
3. Dominance is more than a statistic.
4. It's likely that we'll win CLs in the future as well, with weaker teams, but not being as dominant. Winning the CL can be done while not being the undisputed best team in the world.
5. You are influenced too much by numbers, or by what people think.
6. For Real to be better than Barca they need to win La Liga. You can't pretend to be the best team in the World, when you're actually the 3rd best team in Spain in the last 3 years. It's just not logical.
7. People can think whatever they want, the actual dominance of a team goes beyond winning a competition which consists in 3-4 real games, sometimes even less. It's more complicated than that.

It's also written in the stars that Athletico will fail at the summit like they did in the last occasion. Perhaps they are masters of the 2 legged tie. A one off final however is s different story.

They already did it in a Copa final which was their 1st win against Real since god knows how many years.

Exactly. Real Madrid are this lucky with the draws just to lose in the final? Give me a fucking break. This is all set up for them and Penaldo. They will probably find a way to get Gonzalez fucking Gonzalez appointed as the referee for the final with how things are going their way right now.

The thing about their lucky run is that.....luck always run out.

Always.

It's time their luck run out in the final.

In contrast to his start a Bayern Pep will have it really easy on the island.
Can't even think how he could do worse than that joke of a team City is right now even if he tried :)

Not even going to watch this final. Absolutely despise both the teams. Real for obvious reasons and Atletico play the ugliest style of football imaginable. Also we just had this match-up 2 years ago so this is literally the worst possible final I could imagine, don't care who wins, I wish both the teams could lose and nobody gets the trophy.
