Atleti will score in first 20 mins. 98% Torres/Griezmann. Just after Half time in around 60 minutes time atleti will score again. Then a penalty for real at around 70 mins around. Final few minutes impossible to predict. My bet would be on 2-1 victory by atleti but there will be decent chance for repeat of 2014. No matter what i have a strong belief that Atleti will take the lead.

Finals are always unpredictable as it can often come down to a bad day or stroke of luck.

It really is a 50-50 match.

I believe in luck and karma and all that other crap. I just can't see Real leaving Milan as losers with how their year has gone.

Atletico were probably the best team in the competition (not the best tactics though) while Real steamrolled Europa League quality teams. I think it will be a lot closer to the last CL final where Atletico held on strong( although I felt that Real were playing better attacking football). If Madrid come out like Bayern did during the 2nd leg, Atletico will lose because they looked overwelmed when Bayern.

This will be similar to the 2000 final where Real overwhelmed Valencia despite Valencia being the best performing team that year.

I think Atletico peaked in their matches against Bayern and us.

Except our last 3 CL finals. We came as favorites and we just down right dominated the opposition. This match is unpredictable yes. Both clubs are good but not that good and both have some history.

Out of the last 10 finals ,I would say most of them ended with favorite team for winning it actually winning
Barca 4 times(2006,2009,2011,2015) ,Bayern(2013) ,Inter (2010) and would argue that Manu(2008) ,Milan(2007) &RM (2014) was widely considered favorites too .only Chelsea was the clear underdog winner tbh.

Will be an intense match depending on how Atletico will play. The worst scenario is them sitting too deep and allowing Madrid to control everything, Ronaldo or Bale will surely score a headed goal that way. Hope it will be a battle in the centre of the pitch with much pressing.

Atletico is well capable of shutting down Madrid to 4-5 serious chances in the final. If Oblak is on a great day, and he usually is this days, I can see a 1-0, 2-1 win for Atletico. Due to the way Simeone's team play, they always create the fewer chances, but the ones they create are usually 1vs1 with the keeper. Also, the way they defend, the opponent is rarely in such a situation. They basically absorb pressure knowing that one - two -thre big chances will come for them on the counter, and knowing that such a defensive setup as the one they use will give the opponent several half-chances, but not many clear ones.

If Madrid do not play above everything they've shown so far in the season, they will probably lose. Atletico - Barca 2-0 and Atletico - Bayern 1-0 is a higher level of football than Madrid has played so far in this season, and I'm including here the Wolfsburg home game.

We were not the favorites in 2009 brah.... Yes we were playing some extra ordinary, easy-on-eye football. But we were missing our starting RB as well as starting LB, had to play our captain out of position! Had to play the best DM of the year in defense!! And we were playing the reigning champions too, who had the reigning best-player-of-the-year leading them!

Plus we were 2 minutes away from being knocked out by Chelsea. And didn't Iniesta and Henry barely make the game due to injury?

We were underdogs in that one.
this too.... Had to start a no body in Busquets for CL freaking final too (Look at it this way, if Alves was not suspended no way would Busi get that chance!). Henry and Iniesta were doubtful until the last minute yeah, totally forgot about that

I am not sure there was any neutral who have the remote thought that we will beaten in that game .that Barca team was considered the best team in the world and no one dared to assume otherwise IIRC
But ,isn't there is betting on those games? if there a record for that it could give us an indication on who was considered underdog back then

I'm actually going to be in central Madrid vacationing with a friend on the day this stupid fucking match is happening.

I don't know I will handle it if Real Madrid win this match. It's going to be hell. Probably wont even leave my hotel that night.

The thought of it is already making me sick.

Best midfielder around
Will have to dig myself down for a couple of weeks if, God forbid, they win it. This country is so pro-Madrid that I will have to read about it for months. Just today the biggest newspaper here made headlines out of Ronaldo being pushed during training...
