I enjoy reading PL bashing so don't tell people to stop please.

The hubris over here is insufferable. People get high off their own dogma

Thank you.

This current success of La Liga is unprecedented in the Champions League. Three winners in a row. Suck it PL fanboys. Suck it.

I enjoy epl bashing too.

The epl was at its strongest from 05 to 09.

The money aspect and marketing have taken over the league

I have to agree. There is a certain bias towards the big teams.

HOWEVER it is clear Real Madrid have more then just "luck of the draw".

They consistently get weaker sides and favourable decisions.

It's frustrating because we consistently have to play against strong teams year in year out.

All of our Cl wins we had to play the best.

In a one off match there is a greater chance that Atletico can have an off day.

Oh really ? Like you had to play your best in the 2009 semi-final vs Chelsea when Tom Henning Øvrebø refereed? The game after your club became known as Uefalona? That was a straight robbery.

Yeah, Chelsea never got unfair calls to their advantage during both legs against us in 2009...

I would usually be a little sad if I were to see Real in the final and us knocked out but right now its more than that because they did not deserve to go past semis with how shit they are and luck carried them here.

I meant play the BEST TEAMS.

Chelsea were probably one of the three strongest teams back then. Btw there were a few decisions that went against us too. ;)

Mark Clattenburg will be the referee for this CL final.

What do you think of him? I don't know much about his style.

But what if he'll turn his style of refereeing by 180 degrees for this match, would that surprise you big time?

I must confess, from what I've seen so far it wouldn't surprise me at all. For instance he might just send off a ATM player in the first half, easily, you know.. like Cakir did not so long ago... Or even lurk for any chance to do so during the match, or a PK or even an entire attitude favourable to Mierda.

Last Final at San Siro 2001 Hitzfeld's Bayern - Cuper's Valencia with Bavarians winning in penalties thriller.

Cuper's Valencia were a lot like Simeone's Atlético. Great defense and most lethal counters.

 That video El Flaco posted is in your face proof that a lot of the decisions in that tie vs Chelsea were against us too. Ballack and Bosingwa should have been red carded, a penalty for us for Henry, another possible one at Ballack, no offside for Eto'o, no red card for Abidal. Those are 5-6 major decisions that were against us.

An advantage for Atletico surely, he often allows rough play.

Yea. I agree. But he's a good ref.

The most annoying thing is that Bayern would have slapped the shit out of Real. With Atleti it's going to be a tight affair no matter what and possibly going to be decided by luck.
